  2. How long does it take to evict a tenant?
All legal processes are geared toward the tenant and times vary. Tenants can delay the eviction processes with continuances. Some have learned to work the legal system so they can live free for as long as possible before the eviction is finalized. The delays create heavy costs for the property owner.

  3. What type of costs can be incurred as a result of renting to bad tenants?
Costs involved with evicting tenants are:
    • Legal fees including:
      • Unlawful detainer for each adult in the house

The purpose of our web site is to make it safer to rent your properties. By sharing information about tenants, we can reduce the risk.

  5. How much does it cost to view an TenantRevie.ws report about a renter?
It is free. We know property owners incur high costs when evicting renters and are leased to offer our resources to you without charge.

  6. Do I have to fill each field on the form?
Yes, we need all fields to be completed in order for us to conduct a search on a tenant or to allow you, as the landlord, to report the bad tenant. If the tenant you are researching has been reported, an Experience Report will pop up.

  7. If I find the person I research listed on your site, do you think I would be safe in renting to them?
Bad tenants have many faces. Rent to them at your own risk. This site is designed to be a landlord watch. Therefore, if you find that your potential tenant has been reported on our site, it is your option to rent to them at your own risk.

  8. Is a background check still necessary?
Yes, we recommend you still conduct a background check and use other conventional screening methods before renting to a person.

  9. Should I hold TenantRevie.ws accountable for all landlord reports reported on this site?
No, TenantRevie.ws remains to be held harmless to all reports made. TenantRevie.ws is simply a platform for landlords to report their bad tenants, therefore preventing other landlords from making the same mistake. However we expect the truth, and nothing but. All landlords are sworn to tell the truth and must agree to tell the truth in every report made.

  10. If a tenant is reported on your site, can they redeem themselves or are they always to be considered a bad tenant?
Yes, tenants can redeem themselves through the reporting landlord. TenantRevie.ws gives every landlord an option to edit their report at anytime. You can update the report and inform other landlords of the progress of your experience with the tenant in the "EXPERIENCE REPORT."

  11. Can anyone simply access these bad tenant reports?
Since this site is designed and built to be a landlord watch, you must enter personal information about the tenant, usually found on a rental application, before having complete access to the site.

  12. Why do I have to log in?
All landlords must log in prior to having access to our Find Tenant or Report Tenant page. By logging in, both the landlord and the site owners can track every report made by the same landlord and allow an opportunity to edit those reports.
